The Psychology of Video Games

Do you regularly play games, such as card games, board games, sports
games, video games, or other games? If you don’t, can you remember the games you used to play as a child? Some of those games
didn’t really catch your attention. Others you engaged in regularly,
alone or with friends and family. Maybe there are some games that
you’ve been playing and enjoying all your life, such as chess, poker,
soccer (or football), Tetris, or Pokémon. If you love playing games, you
know they aren’t all equally engaging and fun, and that’s also the case
with video games.
